About this event

EuroACE invites you to an upcoming webinar entitled “EPC 2.0: Dynamic tools and approaches for ambitious energy renovations”, which will take place on Thursday 27 May 2021 (10:00-11:30 CET) via GoToMeeting.

In the context of the ongoing public consultation on the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), we are hosting a series of three webinars entitled “Future-proof EPBD: let’s deliver beyond the Renovation Wave!” that focuses on different aspects of the EPBD. Our first webinar explored the introduction of Minimum Energy Performance Standards, their regulatory nature and how these policy instruments fit into the EPBD ‘architecture’ and our last webinar will consider the Smart Readiness Indicator as a way to boost digitalisation of our buildings while improving their data and strengthening their role in smart sector integration.

This second webinar will focus on the update of Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) and other building information tools such as Digital Building Logbooks and Building Renovation Passports (BRP). We will look at how to make EPCs work for end-users and ensure their coherence with deep energy renovations. We will also discuss how to best introduce an EU framework for BRPs and digital building logbooks and integrate them with EPCs, thus driving upwards energy renovation across the EU.
