The EU Missions of the Horizon Europe programme foster the emergence of solutions and initiatives to address major contemporary challenges
Some examples of major contemporary global challenges are adaptation to climate change, protection of the oceans, the fight against cancer, carbon neutral cities and soil health.
The Conference will take the form of plenary sessions, workshops and a civil society and research forum. In addition to ministers, it will bring together high-level experts and stakeholders in various fields, and will also be open to the public. This will allow stakeholders, citizens and leaders to come together to discuss tangible solutions to current challenges.
